New Bokken
I got myself a new bokken! FYI, bokken is made of wood and it has been used for sword praticing for centuries, that is, for Kenjitsu. It is normally shorter than Kendo's shinai and the weight varies for each type of bokken. Of course, bokkens also come with varying price tags. Mine cost 30SGD which isn't consider expensive because it was made in China. I would like to have a Japan made bokken but that will cost a lot.
I've already missed one of the Kenjitsu lesson and I'm going to miss the next one because there will be a quiz this saturday, clashed head on with the training.
New bokken
Anyway, I got myself a new special engin edition tumbler. The engin welfare department was giving away tumbler of blue, red, yellow and green. And I got the green one! *smirks*
Actually I've totally forgotten about getting the tumbler until my friend reminded me when I visit his room. Luckily I wasn't too far from the faculty so I just walk there. It was hell of a long queue when I reached there. I was like *sweat* Why would there be so many people queuing up for just a green tumbler.
I went on looking for the end of the line. I wasn't sure if I join in the madness, but then there came a girl, asked for my matric card and handed me a number. Oh well, since I got the number, I might as well queue for it.
It took me about 20 minutes but I was armed with Harry Potter - Goblet of Fire, so it wasn't that bad. Hehe. The greentumbler is very nice, I like it! *gloats at those people who didn't get the grenn tumbler*
Other than the NUS Centennial mug, that pretty sum up all the loots that I've plundered upon for the past few weeks. I'm going to have Math lecture... Wait a minute, I'm free for the whole day tomorrow! The math lecture was replaced last week! I might not need to skip my Kendo training to study for my quiz. I hope so! Hehe!
Last training was fun! My sensei praised me during the training. He was teaching us a different version of small men (head) cut, and he asked me to demonstrate the cut to the rest of the members with my partner.
Then he said it was not bad for someone that is new like me. It maybe a compliment but I was very happy leh! Hehe. Bet he doesn't know I was training my small men cut all the while! Must finish revising for my quiz! See ya!
